Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef chuck
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 8 slices bacon, cooked until crispy
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 4 dill pickle spears
Instructions:
Get your grill ready for high heat
Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size
Add salt and pepper to both sides
Put the burger patties on a hot grill and cook them for four to five minutes on each side, or until theyre done the way you like them
Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and let it melt in the last minute of cooking
First, split the hamburger buns in half
Then, toast them on the grill until theyre just barely browned
Mayonnaise, ketchup, and yellow mustard should all be mixed together in a small bowl to make the burger sauce
Spread the burger sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun before putting the burgers together
To make a burger, cook a patty and melt some cheese for each bun
Add shreds of lettuce, tomato slices, red onion slices, a dill pickle spear, and two pieces of crispy bacon to the top of each burger
Last, put the top half of each bun on top of each burger
