Creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate chips combine in this decadent homemade ice cream.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar over medium heat until sugar dissolves
Remove from heat and whisk in the peanut butter until smooth
Stir in the vanilla extract
Transfer the mixture to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight
Once chilled, pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturers instructions
During the last few minutes of churning, add the chocolate chips
Transfer the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze until firm, about 4 hours or overnight
