Ingredients:
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb mixed seafood such as shrimp, scallops, and calamari, cleaned and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 can 14 oz diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions:
Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente
Drain and set aside
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat
Add garlic, onion, and red bell pepper
Saut until softened, about 5 minutes
Add the mixed seafood to the skillet and cook until just opaque, about 3-4 minutes
Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, white wine, basil, parsley, and crushed red pepper flakes
Season with salt and black pepper to taste
Simmer the sauce for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together
Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until well coated with the sauce
Serve the spicy seafood marinara pasta hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese
